Cupcake Dictionary

"icing/frosting" - sweet glaze made of sugar and milk/water used to decorate desserts


"sprinkles" - very small pieces of  confectionery(sugar) that is used to decorate or add texture to cupcakes



"cupcake liners" - these are used when baking cupcakes to make it more decorative but also to make baking easier, so it doesn't stick to the pan.



"ganache" - is a glaze or filling that is made of chocolate and cream

"cupcake"- a small cake, the size of an individual portion, baked in a cup-shaped mold.



"fondant" - a dough like substance often made from marshmallows or sugar to decorate cupcakes.
